The story
Antoine LeBlanc was hanged on the east end of the Green in 1833 before a large crowd, and his skin was later reportedly made into wallets and book bindings. Locals connect lights seen at night on that end of the Green, near the courthouse, to the treatment of his body after death.
Visitors. Open to the public at all times (free).
