The story
During World War II this beachfront hotel housed British Royal Navy personnel and served as a naval hospital, and staff and guests have long reported figures in navy coats in its halls. The heavily remodeled building also has stairways and doors that seem to lead nowhere, and the hotel now leans into its reputation with a ticketed Halloween attraction.
Visitors. Operating hotel; seasonal Halloween attraction ticketed separately.
