The story

This 1926 Route 66 movie palace lost a projectionist on New Year's Eve 1962, and a figure is still said to appear in the projection booth near where he died. Others describe a child in old-fashioned newsboy clothes near the balcony restrooms, cold spots, and objects shifting in empty rooms.
