The story
Most reports come from the brick catacombs beneath the old church, where tour groups describe footsteps behind them, sudden cold pockets and a foul smell that passes through a corridor. Local lore also tells of a body snatcher called Frank or Leon who dug up burials for medical schools, and Edgar Allan Poe's grave draws its own stories.
Visitors. Open to the public (free grounds; catacomb tours for a small fee).
