The story

Chief engineer Fred Frisch died in 1965, and restoration workers in 1994 described an older man in a plaid shirt and black-rimmed glasses appearing when equipment acted up. One painter who dozed off on scaffolding said a voice woke him just in time, and staff also report a lady in gray and whistling in the basement.
