The story
The women of the Oasis brothel fled overnight in 1988 ahead of a federal raid, leaving clothes, food and a price list behind, and the rooms were preserved as a museum. Visitors occasionally report women's voices in the empty upstairs rooms and the smell of pipe smoke or perfume with no source.
