The story

Frank Stranahan died in the New River in front of his house in 1929, and tour operators describe as many as six presences inside, Frank among them. The stories involve banging windows, cold drafts and things moving upstairs, which museum staff put down to old single-pane windows and river winds.

Visitors. Open to the public (museum; admission charged).
