The story
Interstate 4 near the St. Johns River bridge is said to pass over the graves of an early settler colony, and drivers on that stretch have long reported radio static, dropped phone signals and electronic glitches. Others describe orbs over the lanes, roadside apparitions and a hitchhiker who appears and vanishes on the shoulder, accounts that historian Charlie Carlson collected from motorists who didn't know the backstory.
