The story
Three named ghosts belong to this 1880 cemetery, all traced to a 1999 article by a local ghost researcher: a 'Lady in Violet' in a plumed hat near the older eastern section, a comforting woman at Belle Hightower's sculpted 'Ugly Angel,' and a blond man called Thaddeus near the Dodd mausoleum.
