The story
This house still has a War of 1812 cannonball lodged in its foundation. The Lewes Historical Society tells of Susan, said to have died of burns in 1917 when her dress caught in the fireplace, and visitors describe a door that won't stay shut, objects moved overnight and an upstairs cold spot.
Visitors. Open to the public (maritime museum; free, donation welcomed).
