The story
Before becoming one of Denver's favorite parks, the land was a cemetery, and the undertaker hired to move about 5,000 graves was fired amid claims he cut up bodies to fit child-sized coffins. Roughly two thousand burials are believed to remain, and people describe shadowy figures and an uneasy presence on the lawns.
