The story
The woman seen in this hillside park is said to appear only after dark when fog rolls in off the bay. Legend makes her the victim of a crash in dense fog on a nearby road, still wandering the trails without knowing she has died, and some versions add a shelter built for her spirit that searchers never manage to find.
