The story
Christened in 1927, this riverboat once carried passengers between Sacramento and San Francisco and sat abandoned after Navy service before its 1984 restoration. Employees say the original captain watches from the theater balcony, glasses spill on their own, and a giggling girl with a ball leaves small footprints on the deck.
