The story
Staff at this 1930 movie palace describe a man and woman in Victorian dress standing in the balcony, watching the stage and vanishing before anyone can reach them. On the main floor, workers report sudden cold patches and a tap on the shoulder when no one is near, and the Downtown Stockton Alliance filmed an episode of its Spirits of Downtown series here.
