The story
This Art Deco movie palace opened in 1930 as the Depression set in. Its best-known legend is a man in Depression-era clothes who asks patrons in the lobby for spare change and vanishes as the coins fall through his hand, and staff also mention a child's giggling and phantom tobacco smoke.
