The story
Juneau's oldest operating hotel, open since 1913, is said to be home to a woman in white that local tellings call Alice, a Gold Rush bride abandoned by her miner husband. Guests and staff describe a blonde figure in a white dress in the upper halls and the bar, plus flickering lights and footsteps, with Room 315 at the center of the stories.
Visitors. Open (working hotel; ground-floor bar open to the public).
