The story
Opened in 1841, this is considered Western Australia's oldest hotel, and a tunnel once ran from its cellar toward the Swan River. Convicts and former patrons are said to roam the cellar, and the owner says he once saw a legless man in what looked like a pirate hat there, but no one was present when he looked closer.
Visitors. Open to the public (pub, restaurant and accommodation).
Location note. In the Swan Valley suburb of Guildford
