The story
Built in 1832, this is said to be the oldest surviving house in Western Australia. Every September, around the anniversary of his death, Boer War veteran Major Frederick Ingoldby is said to come back: doors open by themselves, objects are found moved, and visitors describe cold spots and a strong sense of unease.
Visitors. Open to the public (house museum).
