The story
Restored to its 1862 style, this hotel's owners speak of several ghosts: a two-year-old boy who drowned in a gold-rush mining hole, former owner Thomas Redshaw Hunt and his tobacco smell, and a mother and daughter who died of yellow fever. An Irishman stabbed in the kitchen in 1915 is also said to linger, along with beers that empty themselves.
