The story
Ipswich haunted-history guide Jack Sim says priests stationed at this parish have heard what sounds like a full congregation, loud voices and the pipe organ playing at night after the church was locked. The lingering presence is said to be a priest who helped build the present church and is buried in the St Mary's cemetery.
