The story
Opened in 1877 on the clifftops at Bronte, this heritage-listed cemetery holds tens of thousands of burials, including poet Henry Lawson and state executioner Robert 'Nosey Bob' Howard. It is included here for its atmosphere of white marble monuments above the sea rather than for any specific documented ghost sighting.
Visitors. Open (operating cemetery; coastal walk passes through).
