The story
Sisters Ella and Hazel Porter lived their whole lives in this early-1900s house, and Hazel asked that it stay exactly as they left it, down to their clothes and teaspoons. Visitors report seeing the two spinsters in slippers and skirts, and furniture that seems to move on its own.
Visitors. Open on selected days (National Trust house museum).
