The story
Christopher Morgan, whose family bought this 50-room 1870s mansion in 1968, recalls a ghostly period when the family would see a man standing in the orchard and find nobody there. The orchard is where original owner James Stewart was first buried before his body was moved, and family members sometimes felt someone in a room they knew was empty.
